Psychedelic medicine is gaining attention as a potential treatment for mental health in the third wave of research. While the positive outcomes of clinical trials are well-established, the origin story of this medicine remains unknown. My personal relationship with psychedelics sparked my journey towards the truth. The use of fungi and plants for spiritual and community development dates back thousands of years in Africa, but is often overlooked by researchers.
