The 3 Wise Men Gathering at Loveshack LDN

Railway Arches 297-299 Cambridge Heath Road, London - E2 9HA

10th December 2024

6:30pm to 9:30pm

Come join us as we follow the star and travel to the east of London to LoveShack for the Three Wise Men entheogenic gathering, featuring Shehbaz Khan, Danny Nemu, and Darren Le Baron.

The Biblical Magi, also known as the Three Kings are revered figures who, according to tradition, visited Jesus after his birth. They brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh as offerings, and they're frequently depicted in Christmas nativity scenes.

As we enter this festive season, we'll be joined by these three modern day magi, bringing their mysterious gifts of knowledge, wisdom, and personal experience. They'll share hidden and sometimes controversial thought provoking teachings about the origins of these ancient traditions.

Shehbaz Khan

Shehbaz is the founder of The Frankincense Store, and has been sharing his ancient gifts since 2009. With a passion for delivering the finest frankincense resins, his store has grown to become the world's exclusive frankincense retailer. During a trip to Oman, while walking through the markets, Shehbaz discovered the heavenly scent being burned. It was love at first sniff! Through his own extraordinary spiritual experiences, he recognised frankincense's potential for healing, purification, and powerful spiritual connection with the Divine. In his presentational offering, Shehbaz will share the many benefits of various frankincense resins. Combining ancient knowledge from the Bedouins of Oman with his own research and creativity, he will reveal amazing facts and secrets hidden behind this ancient natural herb.

Danny Nemu

You might have had the pleasure of encountering Danny, engaging in lively discussions everywhere from your local Jewish study group to presenting at international conferences and festivals, where, he might be found distributing myrrh and frankincense like an enthusiastic (but financially challenged) Magi. Danny is known for his thought provocative teachings and offerings, spanning from palm reading to hypnotherapy. However, it was his research in psychedelic studies that first brought him prominence in the field. His provocative presentations about the three kings of Orient being drug runners—not kings—caught widespread attention. Danny's "Drugs in the Bible" talks and his written work "Getting High with the Most High" stand as testaments to his deep exploration of this subject. These contributions have solidified his reputation as a leading scholar in this controversial area of study and we are honoured to have him share his gifts at this gathering.

Darren Le Baron

Spore spreading educator Darren Le Baron whose known for going around reminding anyone who will listen that they are “mushrooms having a human experience” will deliver a dose of his timely and seasonal presentation, "The Psychedelic Mysteries of Christmas." Have you heard about the psychedelic origins of Christmas and Santa Claus? Isn't Christmas supposed to be about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ? And what about Santa's little helpers and flying reindeers where did these ideas come from? There's considerable debate surrounding the validity of these psychedelic claims. Darren has conducted extensive research on this subject. In his presentation, he'll explore some of these alleged psychedelic connections to Christmas, as well as lesser-known truths about the holiday season. Given the years of distortion and misrepresentation, Darren believes it's crucial to illuminate these Psychedelic Christmas mysteries before they vanish entirely from folklore and historical records.

As a certified Sivananda Yoga teacher and Mindfulness Coach, she uses various techniques to equip clients with the necessary tools for expressing their journey fully. Her approach blends ancient herbal wisdom with modern nutritional science to create transformative experiences through her signature protocols. Drawing from her Caribbean heritage and deep understanding of plants and fungi, Chantel creates unique healing blends that nourish body and spirit. Her mission is simple: to guide others toward optimal health by connecting them with nature's power, balanced living, and the vital energy of whole, living foods.

Kory Lashley is an innovative plant-based chef who specialises in alkaline and vegan cuisine, with a particular focus on mushroom-based gastronomy. Through extensive formal education and personal research in health and nutrition, he has developed a unique scientific approach to crafting nourishing meals. His expertise lies in transforming functional mushrooms and whole plant ingredients into delectable dishes that both heal and delight. During the immersion, he will be demonstrating his culinary mastery through interactive cooking sessions, serving gourmet mushroom inspired dishes, and sharing his knowledge about crafting nutritious tonics and elixirs.

Cherine Haynes creates transformative experiences and products that enhance mind, body, spirit, and home. Drawing from her personal healing journey, she dedicates herself to creating spaces for others' development and wellness. Cherine employs diverse approaches including mindset coaching, sound therapy, and mindfulness practices. Mushrooms, Death and Día de Los Muertos

What do mushrooms and Día de Los Muertos have in common?

At least a handful of things! They share a focus on celebrating the ancestors, honoring death, and spiritual journeys. Some might even argue that the Day of the Dead provides a framework—both cultural and spiritual—that lends itself to tangible integration, thanks to its rich ceremonial history.

We’re gathering experts on October 27 to talk about death, the ancestral realm, and why on mushrooms—and this time of year—the veil to the other side is thin. In this workshop, Monica Cadena will lead a conversation about death, mushrooms, and psychedelic journeys in the context of Día de los Muertos with Xochitl Ashe and Darren Le Baron, two devoted experts and stewards of the mushrooms. About your facilitators

Darren Le Baron is an educator specialising in mycology and psychedelic research. With over twelve years of experience in growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms, he has transformed his knowledge into a social enterprise. He is also an Organic Horticulturist and Permaculture tutor who actively supports schools, businesses, and hard-to-reach communities worldwide in creating holistic and sustainable working systems. Through his work, Darren aims to inform and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds. He helps them navigate social challenges, contribute to community development, and improve themselves in his innovative, creative, and culturally-aware style. Sidi Genus, is a native of Jamaica, she grew up in a small farming community in the parish of St. Elizabeth. Her love for mushrooms began 8 years ago after her first dose -"a life changing experience that opened my mind to things I once thought were impossible”. This led her to finding her passion for mushroom cultivation and holding space for those who need it. Since then, she has been cultivating mushrooms for her own personal use and for the service of others. Her training as a nurse has given her the skills to build her own mushroom lab and specialise in sterile tissue culturing, spawn production and maintaining a species library. “The things I love most about mushroom cultivation are: the care, love, energy, connection and creative sense it requires and awakens us”.

About the space

Enjoy this truly authentic Jamaican experience at the family-run Doranja House. These intimate guesthouses lie in the most private setting, tucked away in a secluded cove of Treasure Beach. Another standout of this colourful property is the abundance of outdoor space, lush tropical plants, and farm to table produce.
