Ancient Pathways: A Cultural Journey Through Cornwall

Embark on a Sacred Journey where past and present intertwine, where ancient civilisations spring to life. In the heart of Cornwall, discover sacred sites, timeless traditions, and mystical landscapes that reveal a story of deep connections spanning millennia.

Join us for this seven day journey as we venture beyond conventional historical narratives to experience Cornwall in a way few ever will. This is more than a retreat it's an opportunity to uncover the mysteries of the past and celebrate the living traditions that continue to shape this enchanted land.

Walk among Cornwall’s megalithic wonders—ancient stone circles, quoits, men-an-tols, prehistoric remains, and the landscapes that once connected ancient peoples across the seas. At each site, you’ll find more than just stones; you’ll discover the hidden stories of our shared human heritage. Imagine meditating at these powerful locations, feeling the energy of ancient ceremonies as you reflect on the cultural exchanges that shaped our world.

Celebrate Living Traditions

The journey doesn’t start and end with the past. Immerse yourself in Cornwall’s living traditions—experience the historic Padstow May Day festivities, where the legend of the ‘Obby ‘Oss comes to life in colourful processions and ancient celebrations. Dance in the circle with Morris dancers, participate in Maypole celebrations and learn about the deep-rooted customs tied to the land. The Green Man and Goddess traditions bring a mystical dimension to this cultural tapestry, offering a chance to reconnect with nature and the rhythms of the seasons.

Learn and Exchange

Throughout this immersion, you’ll discover the fascinating connections between Cornwall and distant civilizations. From the influence of African cultures on Cornwall’s heritage to the enduring myths and stories passed down through generations, you'll uncover a rich history that transcends borders. Join in workshops that explore these shared spiritual practices and discover how ancient customs still resonate today. Visit the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, explore the Eden Project, and engage in meaningful conversations with fellow seekers. This retreat is not just about learning from the past; it’s about creating new connections with those who share your curiosity and passion for history, culture, and spirituality.
